Because it’s easier than you think and never too late to learn 

Classes are held during the week and booked on a term basis.

Choose from 4 tailored programs to teach fundamental skills of swimming and water safety:


For people with little or no experience in the water. Classes provide basic foundation skills required for water awareness, aquatic safety and swimming such as

  • Safe entries
  • Submerging
  • Floating
  • Kicking and breathing


For people with some experience, wanting to improve confidence & ability. Expect to gain an increased understanding of the basic skills for water awareness, aquatic safety and swimming including:

  • Improved kicking technique
  • Introduction to deep water
  • Basic freestyle and backstroke technique
  • Learn to swim at least 10 meters of proficient freestyle & backstroke
  • Survival techniques


For people with basic swimming and water safety proficiency, wanting tuition in stroke correction and skill development. This course teaches you to swim 50 meters proficiently in:

  • Freestyle
  • Backstroke
  • Breaststroke
  • Survival skills


For participants wishing to:

  • Extend swimming endurance levels
  • Refine stroke techniques.
